Please contact: Email [email removed] 253-432-xxxx Bella is a 2-1/2 year old Boerboel (South African Mastiff) that has lived with three kids ages 13, 15 & 17 along with a cat, and a Shitsapom. Bella is a beautiful full blood South African Masiff that is extremely good with the kids, the cat and the small family dog. She is a huge baby that needs a great deal of attention and will follow you anywhere and everywhere. Shes extremely protective of the family. She is well behaved and can sit, lay and stay. She is also extremely attentive when spoken to. She loves to be covered with a blanket when sleeping and play a soft game of tug a war nightly. She is a typical Masiff in that she likes to sleep and is not overly active. She is extremely athletic and will amaze you "when she wants". She weighs 125lbs and is two and a half years old. The down side, She is fearful of anything new (and extremely fearful of the vet) She has Never been aggressive towards people but that cannot be said for other dogs. We have taken her to puppy class which was followed by an "aggressive dog" training class. While on lead and pinch collar, she is extremely easy to manage but off lead, she sometimes loses focus and will take off. She is walked daily on lead and does well. She is in great shape physically with the exception of allergies and elbow displasia. For the allergies, she takes Clariten when needed and Rimadal for the elbows. What Bella is looking for: A dog-loving family that is experienced with big dogs. They have no other dogs but have a passion for them. She needs a fenced, large yard (.5 acres or better) a daily walk and to be feed 2.5 cups of food twice a day.
